Since entering financial services in 2001 I’ve found myself working with a number of amazing people, great leaders, and innovators; all imparting significant knowledge. This has given me a thirst to drive myself towards challenging roles and pushing me to tackle complex business issues.

When you challenge yourself, you learn a lot about who you are. I know now that it’s all about the conversations you have. Leadership roles have both rewarded and challenged me but I know I have arrived at where I was meant to be. Leading people and taking people on new journeys drive me to innovate and constantly look for better ways of getting the best out of me, my team, and the business.

I thrive off working with diverse groups of people that are hungry for success, my best results have always come from having audacious goals and building strong solutions that everyone can work towards!

Over the years I have learned a number of lessons, importantly the biggest lesson has been that by constantly refining my approach to business as new innovative solutions disrupt the marketplace arrive, I have always found myself in the box seat to take advantage of new opportunities.

This has taught me to further focus on other people’s learning to ensure my team is also well placed to follow and pre-empt market movements. Now, I am leading the Financial Literacy charge into workplaces, ensuring employers understand the impact of financial stress in their workplace. I emphatically believe more can be done to get people the education they need to make smarter financial decisions.

Whether it’s tackling our changing business environment or sharing the impact of how we can make a difference in financial literacy, my focus has and will always be on the best outcome for my clients.
